Ashwin Sheth Group takes pride in celebrating this Ganesh Chaturthi with the Khushiyaan Foundation. In a heart-warming initiative led by the company and approx. 200+ employees came together to support this initiative through a donation drive for the Ananta Khushiyaan Niwas in Balkum, Thane, to significantly impact the lives of the people.
As part of the ‘Smile Agent’ campaign, the two-week event, which commenced on August 28, 2023, was a celebration of Lord Ganesha's birth and a testament to the sharing of happiness and giving back to society. The Ananta Khushiyaan Niwas, a part of the Khushiyaan Foundation, provides a home for the elderly and kids who have been abandoned by their families or society.
Employees were encouraged to contribute based on their individual capacities, resulting in a staggering donation and contributions encompassed a wide range of necessities, including clothing, food, books, groceries, sanitary products, adult diapers, monetary donations, bags, toys, and essential medications.
Ashwin Sheth Group employees hand-delivered these donations to the Khushiyaan Foundation and also donated a Ganesh idol to the ashram and spent quality time with the children and senior citizens of the ashram, fostering a deeper connection with the community.
Donation drive
Analyzing the lockdown situation and the uncertainty of migrant labourers due to the pandemic outbreak, Ashwin Sheth Group conducted food and medical essentials supply distribution drive at all of our construction site for the construction workers. The Group supported over 1250 workers by providing food and medical essentials to the workers. It was ensured that their volunteers adhered to sanitation, hygiene and social distancing directives as prescribed by the Government and took adequate steps to ensure that their workforce is provided with the daily necessities during these unprecedented times.
Over 2,000 runners register for Sheth Half Marathon 2019
Over 2,000 runners are set to participate in this year’s Sheth Half Marathon which will flag off from Viviana Mall, located in Thane city’s platinum belt on Sunday, 9th June 2019. Co-organized by Joints N Motions and Ashwin Sheth Group’s Viviana Mall, this year’s half marathon has witnessed an overwhelming response from runners across the state, with over 30% increase in the number of registrations. Through such initiatives, the group looks forward to work towards building a community which is equal and inclusive, creating an environment which is independent and has equal access to rights of every individual.
Sheth Eye Run a grand success for the second consecutive year
Sheth Eye Run, hosted by Ashwin Sheth Group, one of Mumbai’s leading realty players, was a grand success for the 2nd time in a row. This noble cause conceptualized to help restore vision to the visually impaired saw as many as 1750 individuals coming together on one platform to take plight of visual impairment. Additionally, over 1500 runners pledged to donate their eyes.
Ganesha gives back to the nature!
To reduce the city's water pollution issues during the auspicious occasion of Ganeshotsav, Ashwin Sheth Group along with the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) and Thane Pollution Control Board (TPCB) devised an environment-friendly immersion solution for household Ganapati idols with the creation of a visarjan pond at Sheth Platinum Gallery, Thane. The pond contained a mixture that could easily dissolve PoP idols turning the contents into high-quality fertilizer. Devotees from all across Thane visited the visarjan pond to immerse their eco-friendly and PoP idols owing to the rising environmental concerns.
Inaugural ‘Eye Run’ sees enthusiastic participation!
The inaugural “Eye Run” organized by Sheth Group on Independence Day 2017 saw enthusiastic participation from nearly 1500 runners from locals and running groups from Thane and Mumbai. This 10 km run was organized in partnership with the Eye Bank Association of India where the proceeds from the race will be donated to eye surgeries and procedures for needy individuals who are visually impaired. Runners also pledged their eyes at the run that was organised as part of Sheth Group’s CSR initiatives.
30 participate in Thane wheelchair marathon
Sunday saw Thane’s first-ever wheelchair marathon, where 30 participants inspired the spectators as they raced towards the finish line. This was part of the sixth edition of the Sheth Half Marathon, where over 2,000 participants ran from Viviana Mall to Sheth Avalon. Ashwin Sheth Group strongly believes that the wheelchair race will serve as a perfect platform to bring about a positive change in the society.
